My hubby

I know this blog is mostly about the kids but I think I have to include my husband stories on here too. I find myself saying, "Yes, He belongs to me" about as much as I say it about the kids. I love my husband. In fact at the end of this month we will celebrate 6 years married. And even with the tears and struggles with infertility and miscarriage I can say I have a happy marriage and love him dearly. That said there are times I don’t think I like him very much. J . Tuesday night I got home from my Bible Study and he had just started watching the movie I am Ledged. I was standing behind the couch leaning on it watching it with him. He tells me to take a load off and watch the movie with him.
At this point I tell him I can’t. In an effort to eat better we agreed that we would pack dinner and take it with us for Wednesday nights instead of grabbing something from a drive thru (we have church Wednesday nights and with all the driving around getting everyone and schedules we don’t have time to stop at the house and eat). I told him I needed to make sandwiches and wraps for lunch and dinner for me and the kids for the next day and whatever he wanted to take.
He tells me not to worry about it. He will get up early with me and help me do it, and just wanted me to come and watch the movie. So I did.
Wednesday morning I get up I get everything out for the dinners/lunches. I start making the first one. He comes in he makes two sandwiches and puts some chips in a bag. And walks off. I ask what he was doing he said he made his. So I ended up making everything for dinner for me and the kids and then gathered up Christina’s lunch and got it all in the cars.
Is it wrong that I secretly hopped the kids would be fussy when getting up and give him a hard time? Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed the movie and was not late for work, but a little extra help would have been nice. I’ll get over it.
